However, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands does seem to be pulling from the past when it comes to its classes. Thus far, two have been revealed, and both resemble class options from past Borderlands games. As such, it can be assumed that the other core archetypes are going to be represented in some way. While some changes may need to be made, Borderlands fans should not be shocked if Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands offers some Soldier-like and Siren-like class options.

The Tiny Tiny Wonderlands Classes Revealed Thus Far

When Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands releases, players will have the option to take control of the Stabbomancer. This class features a devastating throwable blade, which looks like it should be a ton of fun to use. However, it also allows players to go invisible, cloaking themselves and sneaking up on unsuspecting enemies. This should immediately remind fans of the Assassin Zer0 and Hunter FL4K, which also gave players some stealth options.

The original Borderlands’ Berserker class is being heavily improved through the BRR-zerker, which will give players more melee options alongside some extra cryo damage. Aside from a slam and spin being more appealing than some basic punches, this updated class fills another Borderlands niche. Much like the Gunzerker in Borderlands 2 and the Operative in Borderlands 3, the BRR-zerker can be considered Tiny Tiny Wonderlands’ special class. While there is certainly a chance that Gearbox deviates from the pattern with the game’s other options, it seems like it could end up sticking to a similar lineup.

The Archetypes Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Still Needs To Cover

Assuming that the stand-ins for the Borderlands Vault Hunters continue to boast similar abilities, one of the classes might just resemble a Soldier. While some twist could be put on this class so that it better fits the game’s fantasy setting, the game still uses guns as a major source of the players’ offense. As such, having a class that specializes in traditional weaponry makes sense, and it is easy to imagine some players preferring the slightly more grounded option.

While it is unlikely that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will include one of Borderlands’ Sirens, as these characters have deep ties to the franchise’s lore, it is still possible that Tina would make one up for her game. However, the more likely option is that there will be a full-on Wizard class that is added in place of a Siren. Much like the powerful Borderlands characters, Wizards could boast some superpower-like abilities, with a number of different spells able to be wielded. This could let a Siren be present in spirit, giving fans of that class a clear option.

Still, it is worth keeping in mind that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will feature a multi-class system and six different classes to choose from. As such, even if the Soldier and Siren are represented, there will still be two classes left to fill. Something like the speedy Operative Zane could be added, as could a class that is centered entirely on random abilities like Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel’s Fragtrap. For now, fans will just need to wait patiently for Gearbox to share more details on the game’s other class options.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands launches March 25 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
