At the time of this writing, five shift codes have been released for Borderlands remastered. Expiration dates for these shift codes haven’t been announced, and so it’s possible that they will be available permanently for Borderlands remastered fans. However, shift codes typically only last a few weeks before they expire, so fans should use the codes as soon as possible just to be safe.

Borderlands remastered changes the way shift codes work slightly in that the codes are good for all versions of the game. Borderlands 2 shift codes have specific codes for each platform, which made the process somewhat confusing for players. Borderlands remastered simplifies things by offering universal shift codes, so the codes below should work regardless of platform.

5 Golden Keys

Most of the shift codes released for Borderlands games on social media give players 5 golden keys that they can use on the golden chest. Players can input the codes to get the golden keys immediately added to their account. Note that there is a limit of 999 golden keys per account.

April 8 Shift Code: WJCBB-5RRJK-9B3RJ-6XT3T-CBZBF April 10 Shift Code: SRCBJ-5KXFF-5T6K3-33BBB-WBF6H April 19 Shift Code: ZFCB3-6C66R-WJX5B-JBBBT-HRWBS April 23 Shift Code: 9XK3B-9W6R6-W3XCB-TJJ33-XFSJS May 6 Shift Code: HFCJT-B6RRR-5BXKT-3BB3J-JCRH5

Moving forward, Borderlands remastered fans can expect the Borderlands social media pages to keep releasing shift codes for the game. This will likely continue until Borderlands 3 launches in September, though it’s possible that shift codes will still be released for Borderlands remastered even beyond that point.

In the meantime, fans can also expect Gearbox to release special shift codes that offer exclusive cosmetic items and larger batches of golden keys. We will update this page with new golden keys for Borderlands remastered as they’re released.
