Towards the end of the chapter, fans saw Code torturing Amado in order to get his limiters removed. It was only a matter of time before the former Kara scientist cracked, and he ended up removing his limiters based on the promise that he would be kept alive. Unfortunately for him, that doesn’t seem to be the case as he could very well end up being Code’s first victim in Boruto chapter 71, which will tackle that and much more.

Boruto Chapter 71: What To Expect
Boruto chapter 71 will likely continue from where the previous one left off and give the fans a look at Code’s newly awakened powers. Now that his limiters are off, he is likely the strongest being in the universe right now, and not even Naruto or Sasuke are strong enough to match him in combat together.
Code’s power was previously described to be such that even Jigen, the former leader of Kara, considered him to be a threat as he was stronger – hence why limiters were placed on his body in the first place. Now that these limiters are off, he can fully make use of his White Karma and target those who played a part in Isshiki Otsutsuki’s death. At the same time, fans saw him add Shikamaru to his list of people to kill in the previous chapter, which implies that Code could potentially attack Konoha as soon as chapter 71 of Boruto.

More importantly, Amado’s future will likely be decided in Boruto chapter 71 as well. Towards the end of the last chapter, Amado begged and pleaded for his life and Code certainly did promise that he would let him live. However, as soon as his limiters were off, he decided to test out his new powers on him. It is entirely possible for Amado to become the very first victim of Code’s new powers, after all, he has proven to be quite a pain for the bearer of white karma.
However, it is more likely for him to survive this due to his connections to Ada and Daemon. The two clearly have a deep history with Amado and Ikemoto will likely not let him die before all that is resolved. As such, it is possible that Ada will interrupt Code and keep him from attacking Amado. This would also be quite smart as, informative as Amado is, he could be of great use to both of them, especially now that he knows the inside and outside of Konoha’s defensive forces.
Boruto Chapter 71: Konoha’s Preparation For Code
Now that Code has awakened his true powers, nobody seems to be strong enough to take him down and combat. However, that is exactly why the people of Konoha should be ready and push themselves beyond their limits. It goes without saying that Boruto chapter 71 will see the likes of Boruto and Kawaki on the forefront since they are likely the strongest that the village has to offer against Code right now.
The two could go through some sort of training that makes them strong enough to combat Code together. At the same time, the likes of Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha would also need to get stronger in order to stand a chance against the new leader of Kara. Previously, fans saw Sasuke exclaim that the time to test his resolve could arrive very soon, which could end up tying to his fight against Code later on in the story.

Boruto chapter 71 might also see the beginning of a short time skip in the series. Fans already know that there is going to be a time skip at some point in the story, as is evident from the prologue chapter of the manga where Boruto and Kawaki were both much older. If Code is somehow delayed, Boruto, Kawaki, Naruto, Sasuke, and every other major jonin in the village could use this time to prepare for the incoming attack and get stronger.
While not certain, a timeskip might well come into play quite soon to push Boruto and all his other teammates, such as Sarada and Mitsuki, to the next level. This would be needed to fight back against the threat of not just Code, but also Ada and Daemon, both of which are incredibly powerful in their own right. Without a doubt, Boruto chapter 71 is going to be a huge installment in the series and one that could have long-lasting consequences.
When Will Boruto Chapter 71 Release?
